The 21st Century Community Learning Center at Burlington’s Lucille Umbarger Elementary School is offering 6th-8th graders new after school activities, thanks to a $1.23m federal grant.

The mayors of Anacortes and Mount Vernon went to D.C. to lobby for a Jones Act waiver on behalf of local shipbuilder.

The Skagit Land Trust wants to preserve Guemes Island’s Kelly Point from development and keep public access.
