Childbirth Education Class: Arlington Women’s Health
This course will be held on Monday, June 4 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. for expectant parents. Join our Certified Nurse Midwives for a two-hour class highlighting what you may expect for your labor and birth experience. This brief overview will include: normal end of pregnancy discomforts, signs of labor and when to go to the hospital, relaxation and breathing, pain management, birth positions, family support, admission and discharge from Cascade Valley Hospital, and time for questions and answers. This free class is held at Skagit Regional Health – Arlington Women’s Health. Pre-registration is required by calling 360-435-0242 or signing up at the clinic front desk. Light refreshments will be provided.

How to live a healthy lifestyle: Does my child have a sitting disease?
Skagit Regional Health is offering this new parent/guardian – boys and girls class on health and fitness. This talk will help participants address the important topics regarding eating right, exercising appropriately and avoiding “sitting disease”. Hosted by Pediatrician Dr. de Silva with Skagit Regional Clinics – Riverbend. This class is designed for girls and boys ages 11+.
