We are thrilled to welcome you back into McIntyre Hall for a season of celebration.

From the McIntyre Hall Presents Series to community performances by Fidalgo Youth Symphony, Skagit Symphony, Pacific Northwest Opera, Skagit Valley Academy of Dance, Skagit Valley Chorale, Mount Vernon School District, and Skagit Valley College – there is something for everyone

Amidst the ongoing effects of COVID-19, we continue to prioritize the health and well-being of our patrons, artists, volunteers, staff, and the community. To ensure every event you attend is a safe and enjoyable experience, McIntyre Hall is following CDC, Washington, and local guidelines, as well as recommendations developed specifically for the theatre industry. Updated requirements will be available on our website and ticket buyers will be notified regarding any changes via email.

At this time, MASKS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL PERSONS REGARDLESS OF VACCINATION STATUS.

The protocols currently in place are subject to change in compliance with revisions to national and local guidelines regarding COVID-19. While we will provide the most upto-date public health procedures to improve patron safety, they are not an absolute protection against contracting COVID-19. It’s time for an adventure – All Aboard the Orient Express! Come away with Skagit Symphony as we trace the original route of this storied locomotive over the course of this season. Our three-concert journey begins in the incomparable city of Paris. Experience “The City of Lights” through the music of the masters who knew it best, including Ravel, Berlioz, Satie, Debussy, and Saint-Saëns. The soaring voice of our guest artist, Natalie Buickians, is sure to make this an unforgettable start to the Skagit Symphony's 42nd season.

One of the most romantic, brilliant and tragic scores of all time, Verdi’s ever popular masterpiece contrasts spectacular grand opera choruses with scenes of indescribable tenderness and love.

La Traviata is the story of the tragic love between the courtesan Violetta and the younger, passionate Alfredo Germont. Played out against the hypocrisy of upper-class society, Alfredo and Violetta’s love threatens to ruin his family. His father appeals to Violetta to give up Alfredo for the sake of his family. Knowing that she is ill and she can never marry Alfredo, she relinquishes her one chance of happiness in an ultimate act of self-sacrifice.

Sung in Italian with English supertitles.
