Mount Vernon Veterinary Hospital expanded its practice to offer more services to Skagit County pet owners with the addition of two small animal veterinarians.
The new veterinarians, Dr. Steve Boskovich and Dr. Meredith Sturges, offer over 35 years of combined experience working with small animals.
The Mount Vernon Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the hospital’s expansion on Wednesday, August 1. The hospital now offers patients a wider variety of services, including preventative care, dentistry, surgery, acupuncture, chiropractic care and complete diagnostics including laboratory and x-rays.
The hospital is one step closer to meeting their goal of blending medical excellence with compassionate care to become Skagit Valley’s premiere mixed animal practice with the new extension, owner Dr. Steve Boskovich said.
The veterinary hospital has served Skagit County since 2000. It specializes in equine services, ranging from routine preventative care to advanced procedures including lameness and sports medicine, surgery, acupuncture, chiropractic, dentistry, reproduction and pre-purchase exams. The hospital regularly works with local 4H and Pony Clubs to educate young riders on basic veterinary care.
Mount Vernon Veterinary Hospital is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. For more information on services offered or to schedule an appointment, call 360-424-4054 or visit https://mountvernonvethospital.com.
