Pacific Party Canopies, a comprehensive event-rental company that has served Whatcom County residents for more than 20 years, has added a downtown Bellingham store that is opening Jan. 17.
The Bellingham store of Pacific Party Canopies is in a 7,000-square-foot building at 2007 N. State St. that formerly was occupied by Walker’s Carpet One.
Pacific Party Canopies, founded by owner Greg Greenfield in 1987, provides a wide range of clean, quality event-rental equipment. In addition to professionally installed tents, the Burlington-based company offers tables, chairs, dance floors, stages, linens, dishes, food-service equipment and much more for weddings, parties and other events.
“We have many Whatcom County customers already and wanted to become more convenient for them,” said Jeff Watts, senior sales associate for Pacific Party Canopies. “Our Bellingham location is close to Interstate 5′s Iowa/State Street exit and has plenty of room for displaying products we offer.”
Pacific Party Canopies serves a variety of clients in Western Washington, ranging from families and community groups to businesses and construction professionals. With its considerable inventory, which includes hundreds of tables, thousands of chairs and more than 45,000 linens, the company furnishes intimate parties of eight and lavish banquets of 1,000 or more.
The Bellingham store will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays. The company now employs close to 20 people on a year-round basis and about 35 people during its busy summer season. For more information, call (360) 392-8720 or visit www.pacificpartycanopies.com.
