Performances of Skagit Valley College Drama department’s BIG short ONE ACT FESTIVAL in McIntyre Hall November 17 and 18

The Skagit Valley College Drama Department announces the BIG short ONE ACT FESTIVAL, directed by SVC Drama students Jordan Mindt and Elizabeth Kesterson, will take place in McIntyre Hall on November 17 and 18 at 7:30pm.

     The Festival features two tour de force plays by first wave feminists from the Provincetown Players. Written at the end of WWI, Aria de Capo by Edna St. Vincent Milay is an anti-war allegory featuring Commedia dell’arte characters, while one of America’s most popular one act plays, Trifles by Susan Glaspell, uncovers a war between the sexes at the scene of a brutal mariticide.
