After 14 years in West Mount Vernon, Racks & Beyond has moved to I-5 Autoworld. Owners, Shaun and Wendy Goodman, and manger Andy Highet anticipate the move to be a positive one as their destination store comes into the mainstream, surrounded by auto dealers and direct access to the I-5 corridor.
Racks & Beyond was founded by the Goodman’s in 1996. The store sells and installs vehicle rack systems to carry kayaks, bikes, snowboards, ladders, lumber and cargo boxes. Trailer hitches, mobility racks and lifts, and car and truck accessories round out the retail line. Top brands include Thule, Yakima, Kargo Master, and Weatherguard.
Store hours are Tuesday through Friday 9:00am-5:30pm, Saturday 10am-5pm, closed Sunday and Monday.
