Skagit River Salmon Festival

The Skagit River Salmon Festival will celebrate diverse
partnerships between local, state and federal governments, Tribal
Communities, local utilities, businesses and non-profit organizations to
inspire conservation of the amazing Skagit River, its rich cultural history
and abundant natural resources. The event will be a fun-filled experience
for families featuring youth activities and crafts, recreational and
educational booths, live music and cultural opportunities. Arts and crafts
will be presented by local merchants along with food & beverage vendors.
Through the day’s events and activities, participants will come away with a
greater understanding and appreciation of our Skagit River, our salmon
resources, and our many communities it sustains. The 2012 Skagit River
Salmon Festival will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Edgewater
