Skagit Valley College and EDASC to offer, Being an Effective Leader – Part 2

Skagit Valley College (SVC) and the Economic Development Alliance of Skagit County (EDASC), will offer Being an Effective Leader – Part 2 on Wednesday, March 1st from noon to 2:00 pm at SVC’s Craft Brewing Academy, which is located at the Port of Skagit, 15579 Peterson Road, Burlington.

     Instructor Max Collette is a certified mediator, trainer, master facilitator, and instructor in SVC’s Business Management program. Max earned a Master’s in Organizational Development after 25 years as a professional chef. He provides interactive, fun workshops that employ real world and leading-edge information.

     In part one of the workshop series, Max shared how to create a structure for our groups and individuals to work together well, but what do we do when everything we put together falls apart? In part two, Max will share how to make sure everybody is on the same page, how to effectively manage conflict, and gain the skills to coach each other and reinforce our agreements through difficult times.
