“Trim the fat from your business” at the March Membership Luncheon

“When the Going Gets Tough, The Tough Get Lean” 

Are you a business that is determined to make it, even in the face of tough economic times?  Come to this event and learn how the principles of lean are utilized to trim the fat from your business and ensure your ability to delight your customers and improveprofitability.

At this luncheon presentation you will learn:
·         Common places to find lost money in your business
·         The biggest enemy of business improvement
·         The link between your customers and profitability
·         How to switch from survival mode to improvement/profitability mode

About the presenter: Julia Robinson is managing partner of Steller Solutions, a provider of business consulting, coaching and talent management services.  Julia partners with business owners and leaders to identify the quickest and most cost effective methods for improving profits, margins, cash flow, quality and customer value.  In serving her clients, Julia draws upon lessons from her work in project management and engineering and her experience as both a consultant and coach.

Julia holds a Masters of Engineering Management from Washington State University, a Bachelors of Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Tech, and a Bachelors of Natural Sciences from Covenant College.  She is certified by Achievement Seminars International (ASI) as a Facilitator and the Total Quality Institute (TQI) as a Quality Process Advisor.  She is also a part-time faculty member at University of Washington-Bothell.

The Mount Vernon Chamber of Commerce Membership Luncheons are a great chance to meet people and build business relationships. Join us at the Best Western Cottontree Inn Convention Center at 2300 Market St. in Mount Vernon on Wednesday, March 23rd from 11:30am-1:00pm. The cost is $15 for lunch and the meeting or $5 for the meeting only (beverage included). Cash, Check, Visa/MC are accepted at the door. Please consider bringing non-perishable food for the donation bin that goes to support local food banks.
