Be Part of the Friendship House Cookbook

To commemorate our 30th Anniversary, Friendship House is creating a cookbook! We are asking friends, volunteers, congregations, and partners to contribute everything from their newest dinner creation to Grandma’s favorite cookie recipe. We will taste-test and publish the best as a thank you to everyone who contributes so much to Friendship House. We will be selling the cookbooks at our 30th Anniversary Celebration to celebrate the great cooks in our community and support Friendship House.

Give your recipe a name like “Quick & Easy Eggs” or “Magic Cookie Bars”. Use three or four words at most.

-List all the ingredients and be as accurate as possible with your common measurements (e.g. c = cups, tsp., T., oz., etc.)
-Be specific and clear with your cooking instructions. Remember procedures, temperatures, type of pots, pans, and utensils that give you great results.
-Remember to include the number of servings expected from your recipe. If you have recipes for larger quantities (e.g. 25 or 50 servings) we are happy to consider them for our special section “Cooking for Groups”.
-Please word process/type your recipe.
-Please include your contact information so we can follow-up with any questions we might have. We will list your name with the recipe and place your name on our list of contributors.
-Recipe submissions cannot be returned. By submitting your recipe you grant the Friendship House rights to publish and use the recipe you submit in the Friendship House Cookbook with no further compensation due you other than name recognition in print if your recipe is used.
