Halloween Safe Trick-or Treating Saturday, Oct. 31, 3-5 pm

Calling all witches and goblins, princesses and robots, movie stars and minions! Skagit County residents are invited to participate in a safe Trick-or-Treating event Saturday, October 31,
3-5 pm on First Street, from Kincaid to Division in Downtown Mount Vernon. At 5 pm, the public is invited to join in the annual Costume Contest at the Lincoln Theatre. 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place prizes will be awarded in age categories 0-4, 5-8, and 9+. Young At Heart (18+) prizes will be given for Best Man and Best Woman costumes. Last year’s contest drew a packed house of contestants and spectators! For more information, contact Cathy Stevens:
