Talking Fields Tour

The Talking Fields tour will help you explore the generational farm history, crop information, unique environmental conditions and artisan traditions of the Skagit Delta.

How it Works

Using QR Code technology and your mobile phone, you can follow a detailed map and/or use GPS driving directions to each of our growing number of Talking Fields sites across the Skagit Delta. As you discover them, simply snap a picture using the QR Code reader on your mobile phone or dial the phone number on the sign to access multimedia content about your surroundings.

Driving Directions – Guided Tour

You can download the Talking Fields Tour to your mobile phone device by scanning or clicking on the QR code above.  Our guided tour will give you driving directions to each of sites. If you are entering Skagit Valley from I-5 just start the tour as you enter the County and our program will guide you to each of the sites.  As you travel from site to site you may find places to stop, such as farm stands, farmers markets, restaurants and shops in the area.  Take some time to enjoy the Magic Skagit!

QR Codes

Each Talking Field site has a unique QR code.  Using your mobile phone device, snap a picture or scan the QR code at each site to access multimedia content.  If you don’t already have a QR code reader installed on your smartphone, you can easily download one. iPhone and Android users may download an app by clicking on one of the links below.
