About The Chamber

Welcome to THE premier business advocacy organization in Mount Vernon!

Our vision is to foster economic prosperity and quality of life in our region.  Both of these factors are critical to the success of your business and our communities.  We, as the Chamber Board and staff, are striving to provide you with the tools and exposure you need and want.

Very few people possess the legal, accounting, public speaking, HR and other professional skills required for business IN ADDITION to the services, skills, and production provided by your business.  The four categories of assistance we provide to community members, local business owners, employees, and new businesses include:

  1. business information and training on timely and important topics through webinars and online classes, monthly meetings, our Knowledge Now series and weekly e-newsletter and monthly publication;
  2. promotional opportunities to advertise and market your business through event sponsorships and our weekly and monthly newsletters;
  3. networking opportunities, including Chamber After Hours, Biz Buzz luncheons, and participation in our annual signature events: The Chili and Chowder Cook-off, the Skagit Wine and Beer Festival, and The Riverwalk Summer Concert Series; and
  4. governmental advocacy on issues affecting businesses at the local and state levels.

You know your businesses best.  Maybe you even know what you don’t know. We are here to hear your ideas and are committed to continuously improving in our service to our community.
