Peoples Bank Strengthens Lending Team in Skagit County
Peoples Bank promoted Mike Fredlund to Senior Vice President, Commercial Market Leader of the Skagit-Island Commercial Banking Group and welcomed Nate Walley as a new Mortgage Loan Officer at the Skagit County Real Estate Loan Center. Both Mike and Nate were born and raised in Skagit County and together bring nearly 40 years of financial services industry experience to the team.
“I enjoy developing relationships with my customers and helping them succeed in their business ventures across a variety of industries,” says Mike. “I always strive to provide expert advice and creative solutions to achieve financial goals.”
Born and raised in Bow, Mike graduated from Burlington-Edison High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science from Western Washington University. When he is not in the office, he enjoys playing soccer, hiking, and spending time with his family.
“Purchasing a home is one of the most important investments many people will make in their lifetime,” said Nate. “It is a privilege to assist customers through this process while providing an enjoyable and positive experience. Helping people is core to who I am as a person.”
Nate was born in Sedro-Woolley and grew up in Anacortes. He is active in the community providing rides for seniors and veterans to medical appointments through the Volunteer Center of Whatcom County and delivering meals on behalf of the Bellingham Food Bank. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington.
