Building Vibrance in Downtown MV
Light up the Night!
The Mount Vernon Downtown Association is embarking on a multi-tiered project to improve safety and enhance our Downtown streetscape through the evening and nighttime hours during the darkest months of the year. Our Building Vibrance project aims to light the trees along S. 1st Street, between Division and Kincaid, creating a safer, more welcoming experience for shoppers, visitors, downtown employees, small business owners, and property owners alike. If you have visited Pioneer Square in Seattle or Downtown Bellingham or Fairhaven at this time of year, you know that the beauty of tree lighting is unequaled in producing ambiance and a sense of wellbeing and vibrancy within a community.
Building Vibrance is one of the MVDA’s most visibly exciting and breathtaking new programs and is now open for a limited number of commemorative sponsorships.
DEADLINE IS NOVEMBER 7, 2019 @ 12:00pm.
All sponsors will receive acknowledgments via our newsletter, website and social media. The MVDA will also be installing plaques on each sponsored tree. This is a fantastic opportunity for exposure for your business during our busiest shopping season, to commemorate a loved one, acknowledge a special event or achievement, celebrate your civic organization or just share your love of our beautiful and historic downtown.
Join us as we work toward Building Vibrance in downtown Mount Vernon! Each tree can be sponsored at a cost of $250 per year.
Sponsorship levels:
Brilliance Sponsor - $1,000
As a Brilliance Sponsor, you are committing to 4 years of sponsorship of a tree in our Building Vibrance Program. Pay at once or billed annually.
Dazzle Sponsor - $750
For a limited time, we are offering sponsorship of 3 trees in a row Sponsorship for 2019. We have only 6 Dazzle Sponsorships available so you must act fast! If you would like to sponsor a row of trees, please email outreach@mountvernondowntown.org.
Radiance Sponsor - $500
As a Radiance Sponsor, you are committing to 2 years of sponsorship of a tree in our Building Vibrance Program. Pay at once or billed annually.
Shine Sponsor - $250
As a Shine Sponsor, you are dedicating 1 year of sponsorship of a tree in our Building Vibrance Program.
Only 36 trees are available along First Street from the Southside of Division to the north side of Kincaid. Each sponsored tree will exhibit a personalized plaque securely affixed to the tree (trees will be unharmed). We are truly excited about this opportunity to bring light and joy to Downtown Mount Vernon. Each tree will be outfitted with the highest quality LEDs, professionally-installed outdoor lighting products in a warm white tone.
