Grief Support Services

Hospice of the Northwest provides support to anyone in our community coping with grief and loss after the death of a loved one. Trained counselors offer one-on-one counseling hours from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, and we have drop-in grief support groups that meet weekly. In addition, we teach the Grief Recovery Method which provides action choices that help people move beyond the pain caused by loss. This is an eight-week program that creates a safe environment helping individuals gain new tools for dealing with loss and grief, and it’s appropriate for any type of loss. For more information, referrals or to receive a current Grief Group schedule, please call 360-814-5550.
