Birds of Winter Art Walk in Downtown Mount Vernon

Join us for our annual Birds of Winter Art Walk

February 1, 2020, 2:00 - 5:00 PM

The Mount Vernon Downtown Association presents our annual Birds of Winter Art Walk on Saturday, February 1, from 2-5pm. Maps are available at all participating locations and at the MV Chamber of Commerce, see below for a full list.

Participating businesses feature artists exploring the natural world, including bird-themed art in their locations. This event is sponsored by the Mount Vernon Downtown Association and Perry and Carlson Shop and Gallery

Making Beauty in Mae La

at Perry and Carlson

Perry and Carlson Gallery supports Partners Relief and Development in their work with Rohingya refugees from Myanmar. Refugee children created art works at the Mae La Refugee Camp in Thailand, their work will be on display in the Gallery during Birds of Winter and throughout the month of February.

 

Visit Perry and Carlson for an afternoon with Steve Gumaer, president and founder of Partners Relief, on Saturday, February 1, from 2-5pm. Steve will make a short presentation at 3pm.

 

Murals debut at

Middle Way Acupuncture Institute

Middle Way Acupuncture Institute debuts new murals in their classroom and office space. These murals celebrate the natural beauty and healing art of the Pacific Northwest. Join us in congratulating the artistic duo behind the murals, the Lunar Babes: Colee Snapp and Cedar Summer.

Visit MWAI during Birds of Winter Art Walk from 2-5pm. The artists will be onsite to discuss their work. Middle Way is located above the Skagit Valley Food Co-op at 321 Washington St # 334, Mt Vernon, WA 98273
