Skagit County Fairgrounds to Host First Annual Easter Egg Hunt at 29th Annual Spring Garage Sale

The Skagit County Fairgrounds is gearing up for the 29th Annual Spring Garage Sale, Antiques and More, from April 7-8, 2023. This year, two exciting new children’s activities have been added to the event on Saturday April 8; a first annual Easter Egg Hunt open to children ages 0-12 years old starting at 11:30am, along with free horse carriage rides from 11:45-2:45pm, all included with the price of admission.

On Saturday, children will have the opportunity to search for colorful Easter eggs in age specific zones.  The eggs will be filled with candy, and an opportunity to find one of 20 golden eggs to win big prizes, providing a fun and exciting experience for all participants! After the Easter Egg Hunt, families can enjoy shopping through local vendors and live entertainment at the event.

"We are thrilled to offer this new addition to our annual Spring Garage Sale event," said Fair Manager Aric Gaither. "The Easter Egg Hunt is a great way to bring families together and provide a fun activity for children during the sale. We hope that this will become a beloved tradition for years to come."

The Skagit County Fairgrounds has been hosting the Spring Garage Sale for 29 years, attracting vendors and visitors from all over the region. The event features a wide range of items for sale, including antiques, collectibles, crafts, and more.
