Dink for a Difference- Pickleball Fundraiser benefiting children, youth, and families

On Friday, August 4th from 5-8 pm, Youthnet will be holding its first ever Annual Dink for a Difference pickleball fundraiser!
In partnership with Armory Pickleball we are hosting this special event which is its first ever (that we have heard of in Whatcom County) that will provide a fun and unique opportunity to share our mission and raise money to support the communities we serve. Youthnet is a non-profit, social and educational agency providing children, youth and families in need of support services and groups, expert counseling, wrap-around and trauma-informed care.
Your involvement will help steward the development of hope and healing through the ongoing services each of our programs provides for local children, youth, and families in Western Washington.
Here is a sneak peak of what to expect at this year's event:
- "Hour of Honor"- first hour is dedicated to pickleball play specifically for families and young people
- This will include random matchmaking for "no-rules" pickleball play, as well as other pickleball games and ping-pong activities.
- Two hours of random Round Robin "style play" (5-8 min intervals, "running points system"); a guaranteed fun time!
- Random partners and matchmaking. Every game will last around 5-8 minutes, and after each game each invididuals points will be tallied until the end of the event; those with the most number of points as individuals will each walk away as champions with the prizes to prove it.
- Snacks and refreshments provided (youth and adult friendly)
- Exciting raffle prizes and swag to take home
