Skagit County Families Need Your Help!

Many of our neighbors are feeling the strain as SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits are reduced or threatened. When budgets tighten, families often lose access to fresh and varied foods — meaning nutritious, shelf-stable items at our local food banks are more important than ever.

Let’s come together to support our community!
For two weeks, starting November 10th, Chinook Enterprises will be collecting donations for Helping Hands.

Most-Wanted Donations
Help stock local food banks with items that are flexible, healthy, and kid-friendly:

  • Peanut butter
  • Macaroni & cheese
  • Kid-friendly soups (especially pop-tops!)
  • Chili
  • Fruit Cups
  • Canned proteins (chicken, tuna, beans)
  • Granola bars
  • Oatmeal & cereal
  • Whole grain pasta & rice
  • Canned vegetables & fruit (low sodium | in water/juice)

Drop donations at Chinook Enterprises at 2026 N LaVenture Rd — or contact Crystal at cking@chinookenterprises.org or 360.820.0459 if you'd like a pickup arranged. ❤️

Together, we can help ensure families in our community have access to the food they need. Thank you for making a difference!
