Doc Talk: Neurological Symposium - Life After a Stroke

Please join us for the third session in our educational series. This symposium will be focused on life after a stroke. Individuals who are stroke survivors, family members and caregivers are encouraged to attend. Information and presentations will be focused on stroke prevention, managing depression and rehabilitation after a stroke.

Presenters will include Lisa Rodgers-Potters, RN; Dr. Patti Brettell with Neurology and representatives from the Skagit Regional Health rehabilitation team. No charge, but pre-registration required by calling 360-814-2424.

AARP Driver Safety Program

This program for people older than 50 is designed to enhance the driving skills of the mature adult. Insurance companies are required to give a discount on auto insurance for those over age 55 who complete the eight-hour course. Course fee is $15 for AARP members; $20 for non-members. Bring a check to class.
