Baseball Championship Parade in Mount Vernon this Wednesday!
Mayor Peter Donovan invites the residents of Mount Vernon, and all of our Skagit County baseball fans, to downtown Mount Vernon this Wednesday (June 4th) at 4 p.m. to celebrate the 2025 State Champion Mount Vernon High School Baseball team.
A small parade featuring the players, coaches, and the championship trophy will begin in front of City Hall, and move north through Downtown, to Gates Street. Come on down, dressed in green and white, to line the streets and make some noise for this thrilling championship team.
Following the parade, a meet-and-greet with the team will take place at the Riverwalk Plaza. This should be a great opportunity to get photos with the team, autographs, and high-fives.
Parking will be available at the MV Library Commons garage, and along the riverwalk.
“The City of Mount Vernon is proud of the hard work and perseverance that this team and coaching staff have shown in their years-long journey to this championship title,” Mayor Donovan said. “This parade gives our entire community—sports fans, or not—a chance to unify in celebrating one of the many things that makes Mount Vernon so amazing.”
GO BULLDOGS!
