As the air turns crisp and the days shorten, our homes become the heart of comfort, warmth, and gathering. At Primrose, autumn inspires us to refresh our interiors with pieces that feel both timeless and seasonal—treasures that bring character, beauty, and a touch of coziness to every corner.

Antiques Reimagined

This fall, our collection of newly upholstered antique furniture takes center stage. Each piece has been carefully selected for its craftsmanship and history, then refreshed with sumptuous textiles that bring it gracefully into the present. Think heirloom-quality chairs in rich autumn fabrics, settees with character and charm, and one-of-a-kind accents that anchor a room. These antiques don’t just furnish a home—they tell its story.

Textiles to Layer and Love

Cooler days call for softness and warmth, and textiles set the mood. We’re thrilled to share our custom down pillows upholstered in hand-selected fall fabrics—plush, beautiful, and perfect for layering. Add in our collection from Avenida Home, offering playful, art-inspired designs that bring a spark of joy to everyday rituals. Whether on the sofa, bed, or dining table, these pieces invite touch, comfort, and conversation.

Seasonal Art & Accents

Every season deserves its own palette, and fall brings richness in tone and texture. Our unique fall art and new antique interior accents offer just that—objects that ground your rooms with character while celebrating the season. From custom-upholstered finds to small-scale treasures, these pieces bring depth and personality to any home.

Cozy Autumn Wear

The season isn’t just for interiors—it’s for the wardrobe, too. We’re delighted to continue carrying classic Aran sweaters, timeless in design and unmatched in warmth. Pair them with long fall skirts for an effortlessly cozy, elegant look that transitions beautifully from home to gathering. And for a touch of whimsy, our shelves are stocked with Halloween Jellycats—soft, festive companions that bring delight to young and old alike.

A Season of Warmth, A Home with Soul

At Primrose, we believe the shift into cooler days is a chance to reimagine our spaces—to lean into comfort, surround ourselves with beauty, and celebrate the season’s richness. From newly reupholstered antiques to textiles, art, and fall clothing, our autumn arrivals are an invitation to slow down, gather close, and create a home that reflects both style and soul.

Fall Is For Planting!

perennials, trees, and shrubs

Fall is for Planting at Christianson’s

Avid gardeners know a secret: fall isn’t the end of the season—it’s the very best time to plant. At Christianson’s Nursery, crisp mornings and warm soil create the perfect conditions for setting roots deep and strong.

Why Plant in Fall?

Cool air reduces stress while soil warmth fuels root growth. By spring, trees, shrubs, and perennials planted in fall are already established and ready to flourish. Benefits include:

  • Less watering, thanks to autumn rains
  • Stronger roots during winter dormancy
  • Earlier blooms and foliage in spring
  • Easier transplanting when plants focus on roots

Trees, Shrubs, and Perennials

  • Trees anchor the garden for generations. Plant maples, fruit trees, or oaks now for strong root systems before winter.
  • Shrubs provide structure and seasonal interest. Hydrangeas, camellias, and evergreens thrive when planted in autumn.
  • Perennials settle in quietly over winter and return stronger and earlier—echinacea, hellebores, and rudbeckia all shine.

Inspiration at Christianson’s

Fall at the nursery brims with beauty: pumpkins, ornamental cabbages, and benches full of hardy perennials. Our horticulturalists are here to help you match plants to your garden’s needs and inspire your next planting project.

Plant Today, Enjoy Tomorrow

Fall planting rewards patience. What you tuck into the soil now will greet you stronger, earlier, and more vibrant come spring. Embrace the season and plant with confidence at Christianson’s.
