Spring Season
Springtime in Mount Vernon is vibrant! Travelers from near and far come for the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival and stay for the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival Street Fair in historic downtown Mount Vernon. Biking and bird watching are also on the must-do list. On the eastern edge of the county along a magnificent stretch of highway are the North Cascade Mountains where you can view eagles on the Skagit River or hike on 50 miles of trails.
Skagit Valley Tulip Festival
30 Days of April With the generous support of our sponsors, we are pleased to offer “30 Days of April.” Here’s how it works: each day during our Festival, we will feature an item that a visitor can win from our Festival office at 311 W. Kincaid St, Mount Vernon. We will pick a random number each day and the corresponding visitor will win the prize. Prizes, sponsors and the day’s lucky number will be posted at www.tulipfestival.org as well as www.Facebook.com
